Who is One World?

One World Dragon Boat was created to provide a healthy, athletic and supportive outlet for LGBT members, their families, friends and straight allies to  train and participate in the centuries old paddle sport of dragon boating for fun and competition.

Mission

OWDB’s mission is to remove barriers of discrimination, bigotry and injustice that fragment society and keep people separate from each other.

OWDB seeks to raise positive awareness of the LGBT community through exposure and inclusion by providing dragon boat education, training, clinics and festivals for the community at large. As athletes and good will ambassadors of the sport our paddlers will participate in regional, national and international dragon boat competitions because we believe a more just, peaceful, loving and inclusive society will be created through exposure and positive one on one interactions.

Together let’s train, travel, compete and most importantly change hearts and minds one person at a time.
